Cycling in East Flanders

The Belgian province of East Flanders is known for its many rivers and streams along which it is a real pleasure to cycle. Just think of the Scheldt region, the Lys and the Dender. They also determine the characteristic landscape of this province. In the north-west of East Flanders, in the Meetjesland, you can cycle endlessly along the creeks. Long ago, this land was recovered from the sea.

And if you go to the north-east of this beautiful province, you'll be able to discover the legend of Reynaert the Fox, while you're cycling through the beautiful Waasland.

In the south of East Flanders, you have the Flemish Ardennes, a beautiful region, which already has been discovered by many bike lovers, who can't wait to explore the legendary climbs of the Tour of Flanders.

In this province, you can also use the extensive and very practical bicycle network of numbered junctions.
