Cycling in the Flemish Ardennes
Amongst cyclists, this is a very popular region in the south of the Belgian province of East Flanders, with Oudenaarde as main city - where you can visit the Museum of the Tour of Flanders (RondeMuseum), thanks to its "slopes" from the Tour of Flanders: Paterberg, Bosberg, Kwaremont, ... Although they can hardly be called "mountains", they are yet angry climbs. You'd better be prepared if you want to climb them.
The north of this region, with its beautiful Scheldt valley, has in turn a lot to offer to the recreational cyclist. Some routes are connected to the bicycle network of numbered junctions.
