Peter Sagan puts down a historical prestation by winning for the third time in a row a stage in the Amgen Tour of California. He was the fastest in the sprint, before Heinrich Haussler of Garmin-Barracuda (Aus) and Tom Boonen of Omega Pharma-QuickStep (Be).

Here again, Peter Sagan is the fastest in the sprint leaving Haussler, Matthews and Boonen behind him.
Stage 5 - Bakersfield individual time trial

David Zabriskie (USA) of Garmin-Barracuda was crowned the winner after crossing the finish line with the best time of 35 minutes, 59 seconds.
Stage 6 - Palmdale - Big Bear Lake
Friday, May 18
Sylvain Georges (Fr - Ag2R La Mondiale) won the mountain stage after a long attack, and arrived alone at the finish. Peter Sagan won the pack sprint. David Zabriskie remains leader in the general classification.
Stage 7 - Ontario - Mt. Baldy
Saturday, May 19
Robert Gesink (Nl - Rabobank) wins the last heavy mountain stage in the Amgen Tour of California in an impressive way and becomes immediately first in the final ranking. The last (short) ride won't normally compromise his victory.
Stage 8 - Beverly Hills - Los Angeles (L.A. LIVE)
Sunday, May 20
Peter Sagan (Liquigas-Cannondale) ends the race on high note, winning the 8th and final stage, and increasing his overall Amgen Tour of California stage win total to eight.
