Road cycling

Cycling lovers appreciate road cycling competitions or stage competitions lasting several days, including the prestigious three, Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta, as well as the smaller stage competitions such Paris-Nice, Dauphiné-Liberé, Tour of Dakar or the Tour down Under in Australia and these often have a wonderful history.

The UCI divides single-day competitions into World Tour competitions, viz. Milaan San Remo, Ghent-Wevelgem, Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, Amstel Gold Race, Walloon Arrow, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Vattenfall Cyclassics Hamburg, Classica San Sebastian, GP de Plouay, Züri Metzgete, GP de Québec, GP de Montréal and the Tour of Lombardy.

Hors catégorie competitions are events such as the Omloop het Nieuwsblad (Ghent-Ghent), E3 Harelbeke, Fourmies, GP Indurain (trofeo de Navarra) Parijs-Tours and the Japan Cup.

First-category races: GP Denain, Grape Ride, GP Jef Scherens, Brabant Arrow, Vlaanderen Koolskamp Championship, and second-category competitions.
