Normandy

Both cyclists and mountain bikers will get the opportunity to discover the wide range of cycling possibilities in Normandy. If you like smoothly rolling landscapes, this is definitely the place to be, and than especially the hilly regions of the Calvados and the Eure. In Normandy you can cycle endlessly regardless of the sometimes windy weather, but given the limited presence of bicycle lanes is certainly advisable to wear a helmet.

Normandy also offers the possibility to vivit beautiful towns during your bike trip.

E.g. the trip Houlgate-Trouville (racebike). It starts at the famous city of Trouville, then shortly inland, after which we will follow the coastline to the south, pass the fashionable city of Deauville, upto Villers-sur-Mer. The first climb starts once we passed Deauville, at about km 10. It will bring us to a height of 125 meters, then back down until Houlgate.

As we continue inland, the second climb starts near km 16, which brings us to a height of 145 meters. We go down again and reach Touques at approx. km 38. Then we climb the last serious climb, and reach the top at 145 m. From there it's steadily up and down, to finish in Trouville.

But not without first stopping at one of the many terraces of the picturesque Honfleur, which is an absolute must, where we can have a light snack or drink just before we set in the last 15 km.
