This is a European style climb.Narrow roads, sharp corners, switchbacks and very little traffic(depending on the season).Magnificent views and some of the oldest and largest trees on the planet.Start on the west end of Three Rivers(I like to park by the Lake)ride to the park entrance ranger station, you will have to pay the park fee to enter but it is well worth it.This is a long climb with approx. 28 switchbacks and many sharp corners.Weather can be MUCH cooler at the top so be prepared. You end(if you want) at the Giant Forest Museum where there are bathrooms and a place to take a break, then you have the downhill which is a blast.
