Trophée BPost Bank
Le Trophée BPost Bank, qui portait jusqu'au 10 octobre 2012 le nom de Trophée Cyclo-cross GvA (Gazet van Antwerpen) a ses origines dans la province belge d'Anvers (°1987), après l'intégration de 7 organisations de "A cyclocross" vers un seul critérium. Au début, le Trophée portait le nom de Super A-trophy. Mais presque immédiatement après, le journal "De Gazet van Antwerpen" (GvA) se trouvait prêt à sponsoriser l'événement. Voilà comment le Trophée GvA a vu le jour. La première manche du Trophée a eu lieu le1er novembre 1987 à Putte-Peulis (Be). A partir du 10/10/2012, le nom a été modifié vers Trophée BPost Bank.
Originally, the GvA Trophy was focused on the sub-top. But as the prize money started to increase, also the top athletes in this discipline started to participate. And that's how the GvA Trophy became a Belgian classic, that occasionally also takes place outside the province of Antwerp.
