Located in Bemelen and is especially known because of the Amstel Gold Race. Very nice quiet traffic free ascent with wonderful new asphalt, especially for the World Championships road cycling of 2012, which pleasantly meanders uphill through the forest. The Bemelerberg is certainly not difficult, max 6%, far from the 11% that's indicated at the start and runs very smoothly. Nice climb to warm up on the way from Maastricht to the hills of Heuvelland.
