From Bignor village turn up the little lane through the farm yard (badly damaged surface) and head up the hill. The section through the woods is as steep if not steeper than you will find anywhere in the S of England, although the tarmac is badly warped. After 500m the gradient eases and there is a pleasant climb through the woods to a car park at the summit, where the tarmac ends. Many people will prefer to ride this on MTB but it is passable on road machines. Please descent with care, especially on road bikesaddress
