De Peyresourde is een col van 1e categorie, op de grens van de Hautes Pyrenees en de Haute Garonne. De top ligt op 1569 m. Hij stond reeds op het programma van de eerste bergetappe ooit in de Tour de France in 1910 en komt sindsdien regelmatig terug. Detail : naast het nabijgelegen skistation van Peyragoude ligt er een vliegveldje dat het decor vormde voor de start van de James Bondfilm Golden Eye.

The Peyresourde is a first category climb, right on the border between the French departments of the Hautes Pyrenees and the Haute Garonne. The summit lies at 1569 m. The climb of the Peyresourde was on the programme of the first mountain stage ever in the Tour, back in 1910. Since then, it's included on a regular basis. Detail : the ski station of Peyragoude nearby counts a small airport which was the decor of the start of the James Bond movie Golden Eye.

Le col de Peyresourde est un col de Première catégorie, sur la frontière entre les départements français des Hautes Pyrenées et la Haute Garonne. Le sommet se trouve à 1569 m. L'ascension du Peyresourde se trouvait sur le programme de la première étape de montagne dans le Tour, qui remonte à 1910. Depuis lors, le col se retrouve assez régulièrement dans le Tour. Détail : le petit aéroport avoisinant figurait comme décor pour le début du film Golden Eye.
