The Col de Joux Verte is situated to the south of the Lake Leman and might be less famous than Avoriaz, the ski-station at the top of the climb. Morzine is the well-known starting place of the south side of the climb. The first kilometers are pretty easy but then it goes up all of a sudden, gradully to over 11%. Luckily, you have passed the most difficult hairpin part already after 6 km. The next six are do-able, climbing towards Avoriaz. About two km before the ski-station, you reach the top.address
