The north side of the beautiful pass Col de la Colombière starts from Cluses (Scionzier). The first part, till the bend in Blanzy, is very moderate. Between Blanzy and Porte d"Age, you get the first test, with passages close to 10%. After having taken the huge bend to the right near Port d"Age, you get an almost flat 3 km until Le Reposoir. You might want to visit the monastery there to pray to get support for the rest of the climb. Cause from there, the climb really starts getting real nasty, never going below 8% with a finishing km of 10%+. Enjoy the landscape!address
