Moncofa is situated on a 30-minute drive from the airport of Valencia. There is also a train station with trains to Valencia, Castellon and Barcelona.
Moncofa is a pleasant seaside resort, not too big, but that means there is no mass tourism as in the larger coastal cities. Everything you need to spend a nice holiday is available. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. It is a very child friendly city with many playgrounds and there are three supermarkets within a kilometer.
For cyclists, the region is very suitable. They can ride from village to village through the orange fields. For those who prefer to ride into the mountains, at 10 minutes you are in the interior of Valencian country. In this area a lot of Cycling teams come to train in spring.
Further, there is a lot to visit the beautiful interior, with its caves, old mines, cave paintings, ancient historical towns or natural parks and natural pools in the river.
