Champagne

The Champagne is the most northern wine region of the European continent. Here you can Cycle between the wine domains, where you will have the opportunity for tasting this world famous sparkling wine. The best champagnes are produced from grapes that are cultivated at the east and south slopes of this region.
The region offers a mild climate for cyclists and many routes that are not too difficult, given the relatively small slopes. But those who prefer a more impressive climb, can also make a large selection.

For instance, near Bezannes, you can go into the fields while the trip takes you along some unknown slopes (Mont d'Eury, Mont Moine and Mont Lignat).

Or you can opt for a bike trip along the memorials of the First World War.
You'll pass Les Petites-Loges and Blanc-Mont, where you can see the American War Memorial of World War I. A bit further, you'll also pass the Russian War Memorial, referring to the bloody war record of World War I. In Auberive, you'll pass the Cistercian abbey from 1135, and the villages Mourmelon-le-Grand and Mourmelon-le-Petit.
