How to save a workout or a route from your Garmin GPS

To save a workout or a route from a Garmin GPS device, proceed as follows:

1. Make sure you have the latest version of Garmin Communicator installed on your computer.

Make sure your GPS device is already switched on and properly connected to your computer.

If not so, first download the latest version.

2. Go to "Add a workout" or "Create Route"

Make sure your GPS is switched on before continuing

3. Then click "Connect Garmin"

Your device must be found and displayed in the field "select device", together with an indication "1 device (s) connected"

4. then click on "read from device"

Read from device (A), and the data from your GPS are read. The tracks appear in the list from which you can select (B).

5. Choose a track and fill in all necessary information :

preferably with a description of the route.

5. Then save
