Doping in Tour de France 2012

During a control of the UCI at the 2nd rest day in the Tour de France 2012 (17/07), Frank Schleck (RadioShack) was caught for having used a diuretic agent which also serves to mask doping. Schleck delivered his positive sample on Saturday 14 July, after the thirteenth stage towards Cap d'Agde. It concerns a dose of 100 picograms Xipamide . Therefore, Frank Schleck was put out the Tour by RadioShack. He plans to lodge a complaint for poisoning.
