Nationalpark Bikemarathon

The Nationalpark Bike Marathon takes place on a yearly basis in the Swiss canton of Graubünden during the las weekend of August.

The Nationalpark Bike Marathon lasts one day.

However, it is possible to participate at a version that lasts 4 days, and that's called the Nationalpark Bike Tour.

 

 

 

Distances :

Vallader course : 138 km lang - 4.026 altimeter
Jauer course : 104 km – 2.934 altimeter
Livignasco course : 66 km - 1.871 altimeter
Putèr course : 47 km – 1.051altimeter (also for kids)

Further, there are the BiXS Relay races per couple and per team of four.

The marathon was for the first time organized in 2002. In the meanwihile, it has gained an international reputation because of the unique setting : the Swiss National Park is situated in a unique, rough landscape surrounded by the Alps.

The 15th edition takes place on Saturday, August 27th 2016.

There is free shuttle for both particapants and their bikes towards the different start locations.
