Track racing

Track races are held on an oval track. Therefore, cyclists use a track bike. You have summer tracks (open air) and winter tracks (covered). Summer tracks have a length between 225 and 550 meters, winter tracks are 250 meters long. An Olympic track is always 250 meters and usually covered. The slope of the curves is approximately 33 degrees.
