Tour of Qatar

The Tour of Qatar takes place each year during late January or early February. This multi-day stage race is organized by the ASO, which also organizes the Tour de France.

Eddy Merckx is the principal consultant and tutor in this Tour. Since 2005 the Tour of Qatar is part of the UCI Asia Tour.

Tour of Qatar 2016 :

The edition 2016 takes place between Fabruary 8 and 12. It's the second of 3 Tours in the Gulf region. The series starts with the Dubai Tour and ends with the (more hilly) Tour of Oman.
