Tour de Romandie

The Tour de Romandie is a multi-day bicycle race in Romandie, that takes place in the French speaking part of Switzerland and lasts 6 days. The round was first organized in 1947. The Tour takes place just before the Giro d'Italia (Tour of Italy), and hence, many consider it as one of the main preparation stage races for the Giro.
Since 2005, the Tour de Romandie is part of the UCI ProTour. From 2011 on, The Tour is part of the UCI World Tour.

The Irishman Stephen Roche holds the record with three final victories.
