Paris-Tours isn't starting anymore in Paris, for quite a few years, and since 2009, the race starts in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines (Chartres). The course includes a few smaller climbs, but is generally quite flat. The often strong autumn wind makes it an ideal scenery for the sprinters. In 2013 is the last classic race of the cycling season.
