Traditionally, Milan-Sanremo is a race for sprinters, since almost every attack on the Cipressa and the Poggio is neutralized. This year, the organisation considered to add the Pompeiana to the program. But due to the risk of accidents during the climb at bad weather conditions, the climb was skipped from the final program.

Climbs :
Le Manie
Ceriale
Capo Mele
Capo Cervo
Capo Berta
Cipressa
Poggio di Sanremo
