Peter Sagan wins this 75th edition of Ghent-Wevelgem. Last year's winner Tom Boonen, falls at 65 km from the finish, just before the first climb of the Kemmelberg. Fabian Cancellara also quitted earlier on in the race.

This 75th edition of Ghent-Wevelgem took place on March 24th. The organisation decided to shorten the course of this 234,1 km (145.46 mi) long race with 47.5 km (29.5 mi), due to heavy snowfall. Further, the course is slightly modified compared to 2012 : the cyclists will be driving through the Menin Gate "Menen Poort" as a tribute to the First World War, after which they will be driving in a straight line to Wevelgem.
