Climbing the Malojapass from Chiavenna is like a walk in the park - untill you reach the final 6 ks of the climb. Coming up through the valley you can see the top of the climb. A beautifull wieving-point makes you mark. The rest of the climb is shere and utter force. Lots af hairpins. Everyone of them flattening out for 20 m. then it is 12% again. It is a very nice tarmac and surface and most cars treat you polite. When you are finally on top of the pass, please remember to spend some time looking back down the valley, overlooking your yourney. Magnificent! - Michael Andersen, Denmarkaddress
