Grand Raid

The Grand Raid Marathon, which is truly the largest European mountainbike marathon taking place in the high mountains, was for the first time organized in 1990. Since then, the event takes place each year and can count on about 3.000 participants.

It takes place in the ski area of Les 4 Vallées in the Swiss canton of le Valais. You can start at different locations, but the finish always lies in Grimentz.

The single track course is not easy, but it brings you along the most beautiful places. The organization is perfect, and the food supplies are excellent.
