San Remo - San Remo "La Classicissima" - 20 March 2016

1 day after the Pro's have accomplished the 293 km of this “Classicissima di Primavera”, it's your turn to ride part of the course and enjoy the special atmosphere of this second edition of the Granfondo Sanremo - Sanremo, upto the finish in the Via Roma of San Remo.

The course :

You'll start in San Remo at 9h30, and will be heading in the direction of Imperia before getting inland and climbing the Colle San Bartolomeo.

While the route continues again in direction of the coast, you'll get on the official circuit of the Pro race, with a smooth climb in direction of Civezza, the Cipressa and the Poggio di Sanremo. The finish lies at the top of the Poggio at 169m, at a distance of 108km from the start. By stopping at the top, the organization avoids the steep and sometimes dangerous descent towards San Remo.

The "Classicissima" has the following climbs on the programm :
Colle San Bartolomeo
Civezza
Cipressa
Poggio
