Mark Cavendish wins for the fourth consecutive year, the final stage on the Champs-Elysees and also obtains his third stage victory in the Tour in 2012. He was the strongest in the sprint that was fought among the tenors of the Tour 2012. Bradley Wiggins becomes the first overall British winner of the Tour de France.
