Milan - Sanremo 2013
Milan-Sanremo or "la Primavera" took place on March 17th.
The 2013 edition of Milan-San Remo was supposed to have the same course as the 2012 edition. However, due to the bad weather, the course was modified during the race by skipping the Turchino and Le Manie. Many riders gave up. La Primavera is the longest of all cycling classics and covers a total distance of 298 km (185.17mi).

The Poggio di San Remo lies on a distance of 6 km (3.72 mi) of the arrival and is traditionnally crucial in this first important classic race of the year. With its length of 3,7 km (2.29 mi) and an average of 3,7 %, this climb could still make the difference after 290 km (180 mi) of racing.
